i’m not sure why this is turned into such a big deal everytime the state police show up. if you do what you are supposed to they won’t pull you over, if you drive like you own the road and the world revolves around you then they may pull you over and you deserve it

True. A reminder to behave is nice though. Definitely doesn’t hurt.

I got a flat tire on the Parkway, last week. A state trooper stopped and was helpful.

David, you should be obeying those rules at ALL TIMES, not only when the Troopers are in town……

They’re buzzing around town like flies. So cool. Do they ever do this in other towns??

@ David:

I resent your insinuation.The Scoop is not here to be a lookout for criminal activity. Referring to the Police as ticket machines is more than disrespectful. Go do something legal and as important as what they do. Try learning how to spell and write something meaningful.

@HumbleOpinion:

How is it “cool” to compare cops to flies? That’s no different than some people comparing Jews to vermin. What don’t you understand about “State”. Are you implying they are specifically targeting Lakewood?

– You can resent all you want. While we all know we need to follow the rules, the state troopers definitely come into town with a “gotcha” attitude. Thats why people dont appreciate when they come into town & swarm like, uh, troopers. Thanx TLS fo letting us know.

Ron, The troopers are not here to keep this town safe, let’s be honest.

@Command Post:

And which “swarm” do you “command”? Or do you just “post” negative stuff about cops? If you have proof they’re trying to “gotcha”, use it.

@Mathematics

If you were honest you’d use your real name.

Okay! You are all entitled to an opinion, that doesn’t mean your imagination coincides with facts. I would work more on that. The closer you get, the happier you’ll be. I’m done with this topic.

Whether I agree with your positions or not I have to sat that it’s utter stupidity to compare racism to cop bashing.

Ron said a good point and if you want respect from others, then respect others.

So Blue Lives don’t Matter. Get the hint? Now, who was it that’s “utterly stupid”? If you say that to me in person you most likely won’t be sitting. Go try it at Police Headquarters. Or Oakland or Chicago. Worried much about just cops are we? Keep believing your equation and you’ll surely see for yourself which lines matter sooner than later.

Maybe these troopers will give all pregnant woman in Lakewood private escorts to the hospital.

Doesn’t Lakewood have their own police department, why are they coming in to the town?

My intention wasn’t to be disrespectful. I’m sorry that it came out that way. I agree with your intelligent well thought out/written points, I just did not feel that the commentator was calling cops flies, he just didn’t think through the phrase that he used.
