PHOTO: Seen on a School Bus in North Jersey

This decal was seen on a school bus in North Jersey.

A local bus company tells TLS they’re looking into the possibility of adding these decals to their school buses in an effort to further deter drivers from passing the flashing red lights.

The decal reads, “PASSING THS SCHOOL BUS WHEN LIGHTS ARE FLASHING COULD GET YOU A $289 FINE, 5 POINTS ON YOUR LICENSE AND A DAY IN COURT.”

  1. When bus companies enforce proper signaling…
All too often bus drivers will flash their yellows for a moment before switching to reds while screeching to a halt, leaving no time for oncoming traffic to react.
It’s happened to me. It’s clear everything off your passenger seat type of short stop.

  2. It’s like those sighs that people put on their car that says baby on board.. I don’t think it ever happened that someone was thinking of tailgating a car and said Oh no, I better stop, there is a baby on board.. lol

  3. These signs certainly do work in the Ihr HaTorah. I put decals on the front & back of my car (along with lights & siren) that read, “Future Talmid Chochem On Board”
& It’s amazing how people move out of the way.
What’s more amazing is anyone that has met my kid knows the chance of him being a Chochem in anything is about zero.

  4. first teach people what STOP signs and NO PARKING signs mean, that can’t seem to comprehend what those mean, so how do you expect them to understand small decals on busses?
