PHOTO: Ribbon Cutting Held for New Unity Bank Branch in Lakewood

Community and business leaders joined Unity Bank leadership and staff yesterday for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Unity’s new full service branch in Lakewood at 1255 Route 70.

The approximate 1,800-square-foot facility, located at the intersection with Airport Road, is the community bank’s first branch in Ocean County. Unity had previously operated a residential and commercial lending office at the site.

Unity Bank, headquartered in Clinton in Hunterdon County, provides financial services to retail, corporate and small business customers through 20 branches in Bergen, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Ocean, Somerset, Union and Warren Counties in New Jersey and Northampton County, Pennsylvania.

The bank holds about $2.4 billion in assets and $1.8 billion in deposits.
