PHOTO: Old Lakewood DPW building torn down

The old Department of Public Works building is being torn down.

The 9th Street location was home to the DPW before the current mega New Hampshire center.

A park will reportedly be built in its place, a Township official said.

First you better clean up that area after years of pumping gas and fixing vehicles. I am sure the soil is contaminated.
