YOUR PHOTOS: Lakewood Area Skies Yellow As a Result of the Canadian Wildfires

ICYMI – the smoke is posing serious health risks.

Additionally, looking at the sun – despite it being foggy-looking – could damage the eyes.

  1. Sky’s being yellow let’s contemplate the hand of the environmentalist who don’t allow to cut down trees despite the fact that trees growing close together will at some point be ripe for a fire. It’s either cheap construction material or smoke in the sky we now have smoke in the sky.

  2. When asked if he was surprised that a Canadian wildfire can create so much havoc here in the US, one Lakewood resident told reporters on Wednesday: “No, not really, because I live right next to Lake Carasaljo, and the havoc those Canadian geese are creating in MY life, right here in the good ol’ USA, is intolerable!”
“I can’t sleep at night because those quacks can’t stop quacking for even one moment! And when I take a walk near the lake, they come up to me and bite me!”
“Last week, I went to the Emergency room because one of those Canadian quacks bit me in the leg, in 3 different places!” he said.
“But I promise you one thing,” he asserted, “if I’m forced to go to the Emergency room again because of Canadian wildfire smoke inhalation, I’m sending the medical bills to Canada!”
“It’s THEIR smoke, and it’s THEIR geese, let them pay for it!” he said.

  3. We need our trees as they provide our oxygen to breathe. And friends surgical masks do not protect at all from smoke particles. Please look this up.

  4. Here in the west this isn’t a new experience. Last summer wildfire smoke continued for almost a month along with higher than average temps. This is nothing new for many of us.
