  1. It was a pleasant surprise this afternoon as I was getting ready to make that daring left turn by jumping ahead as soon as it goes green for all when to my surprise a green arrow popped up.

  2. Right-wing activists in Lakewood were quick to pounce upon the installation of the new left-turning signal, criticizing Lakewood officials for “catering exclusively to the Left.”
“This is just one more proof that elections matter,” said right-wing activist, David Wright.
“People like me, who adhere to the right are entitled to a turning signal that will cater to their side, and to the road they have chosen!” Mr. Wright asserted. “Why is everything in this town always one-sided, and always to the left?!
However, long time Lakewood resident and left-wing activist, Alex Smoll, responded coolly to Mr. Wright’s critique.
“Most of the people who are benefiting from this new left-turn signal,” Mr. Smoll argued, “are those individuals who were once on the right, and only recently decided to turn to the left.”
“If Mr. Wright’s right-wing leanings aren’t to the liking of the these newly-turned leftists,” Mr. Smoll said, “maybe there’s a reason for it.” “Fortunately, for the first time in their lives,” Mr. Smoll said, “these former right-leaning individuals, are seeing the light – a beautiful bright new light that they have never seen before.”
“Perhaps Mr. Wright should join us all on the left,” Mr. Smoll suggested, “because that’s where the arrow is pointing these days, that’s for sure.”
