PHOTO: New turning lane being installed at the intersection of Cedarbridge Ave and Ave of the States

The new turning lane from Avenue of the States to Cedarbridge Avenue is expected to ease up the traffic along the road, which sees heavy volume during rush hours.

The road became more popular over the past few years as new office buildings and shopping strips come up, and as motorists look to avoid the New Hampshire and Cedarbridge Avenue traffic.

  1. I think that they should make a century turning large along the entire cedar bridge. The lanes are wide enough to do it. This will ensure that anyone turning left onto Ashley, Arlington or clover etc won’t back up traffic anymore. Many areas in town can be helped drastically with some basic planning and updates like turning lanes and turning lights.
