The new traffic light at the intersection of Cedarbridge Avenue and Vine Street in Lakewood has gone into flashing mode.

Police tell TLS the new light is expected to go live in about two weeks.

    The delay is meant to impose an awareness regarding a new traffic light activating soon
    People must get used to an idea not only on concept but in practice too so they aren’t caught sudenly w a change in routine

    Interesting 🤔 when I go to a new city I can follow the lights even though I have no idea if the next corner will have a light

    Hopefully when people drive they have their eyes on the road, if so, they can see if there is a light or not.

    Don’t see any logical reason for the delay
