Emergency personnel are on scene of an accident involving an overturned vehicle in Lakewood.
The accident happened approximately 3:30 PM on Prospect Street near Massachusetts Avenue.
There are reports of three injuries.
Expect extended closures in the area.

I’m surprised this hasn’t happened sooner. This intersection has needed a light with turning arrows Westbound Prospect and Southbound Massachusetts forever.

To “Outsider looking in”, before you looked in and accused someone of not knowing how to drive, did you find out how the accident happened?

btw the accident was not at the intersection and just wondering why is there so many overturned vehicle accidents in Lakewood lately at least 2 a week did it increase or I’m just dreaming ? please respond!
cars flipping is the new normal, ill bet any amount of money that every car flip recently had at least one of the drivers covid vaxxed
Nothing Unexpected:
According to the Zetz (impact) and damage to the vehicles indicates that the vehicles were driving like chayiz (animals) thus doing more than double the speed limit and while driving like that I sure they were on their cellphones as well.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a heavy, full sized, stable vehicle thus no way it will overturn like that from a 35mph accident, they were doing GSP speed on Prospect St.
That intersection NEEDS A LIGHT! Anyone who gets into an accident over there get a lawyer and sue the town! THAT INTERSECTION NEEDS A LIGHT NOW. Today. Not in a few yrs. sue sue sue. Money is the only way to get ppl to do anything around here

Did I accuse anybody of not knowing how to drive? Absolutely not. If cars are flipping it’s because people don’t know how to drive their cars, Hazeet. I don’t need to know the accident details. I think you, however, need to learn how to read. Have a mazeldig day.

Please don’t go around accusing everyone if you don’t know the real facts. The car that flipped was absolutely not driving like an animal and was not on his phone!! The other driver who knows bec he hit the the car trying to turn into the school and maybe he was driving fast but again please know your facts before you start opening your loud mouth.
