Though it has been on the streets for less than twenty-four hours, the LCSW mobile command center has already become the talk of many in town and receiving rave reviews. This command center replaces LCSW’s retired center and is a welcome addition to LCSW’s fleet of response vehicles.  With phase one of this vehicle’s outfitting completed, it is equipped to be used in a wide variety of emergency situations by multiple agencies simultaneously.  Created with input from numerous emergency agencies, LCSW’s command center is all-encompassing and will greatly benefit all of Lakewood.

This state-of-the-art vehicle contains seven workstations, radio and telephone communication, satellite, internet, PTZ cameras capable of wide range surveillance, scene and emergency lighting and many other features and pieces of equipment that will greatly enhance LCSW’s responding ability. In fact, even before it was fully outfitted, the command center was put to use in a missing person search and at a number of community functions.

The mobile command center has been designed specifically to effectively coordinate response activities in the cases of natural or man-made disasters, evacuations, missing person’s search and rescue, multiple agency deployments, trainings, mass casualty incidences and many large functions and emergency situations.

Sponsorships and dedications are available for those who would like to be a part of this monumental project, and can be made on a corporate level or personal one, as a zechus for refuah shelaimah, in memory of, or for any other merit.

If you are interested in making a donation or offering a sponsorship, please contact the LCSW administrative office at 732-367-5279or administrator@lcswnj.org.

  2. if I had money I would empty my pockets to your org. a group of such devoted people doing so much…the time will come that I will be able to give big ,now I say THANK YOU

  3. They are really great. My friend’s child was sick on Yom Tov. It was not sakanot nefashot, but he needed to see a doctor to get a prescription. Unfortunately, Hatzoloh drivers were backed up with calls.
He flagged down a LCSW guy who drove him to the Dr., then went to pick up meds & deliver.
I know that is not for what they’re there, but they always go the extra mile for the civilians.
