PHOTO: Lakewood Township to Begin Installing Stop Signs Upside Down

Due to the many recent overturn accidents in Lakewood, Township officials tell TLS they will begin installing stop signs upside down.

“We just want to make it for easier for all to read,” stated Police Chief Gragory Megillah.

Also in the plans, officials say, is to remove red traffic lights to reduce the number of red light violations in town.

figured it’s a Purim joke, but, maybe upside down signs are a good idea. Maybe then they’ll be noticed!

The joke with the lights is funny because how would they know how many violations there are in town if they never enforce any traffic laws?

Without the Red Light, they’ll keep going anyway. Even if the Stop Sign is upside down, they still can’t read it.
