With electricity not expected to be restored for several days in Lakewood, one resident decided to rent a refrigerated truck to help neighbors keep their perishable foods intact.
The 24-foot truck has been parked in front of 1666 Hidden Lane, in Raintree.
Families are welcome to bring labeled boxes to have them placed on the truck.
(There is no charge to store your food in the truck, though contributions are welcome.)

If there is anyone who would like to offer room in their house or any other sort of help, and if there is anyone who needs a place to stay or any other sort of help please contact 8456643034 (preferably text) and i will try and make some connections.
WOW!
How Amazing! Thank you! Have to let you know I was in A non Jewish store and saw an older gentile buying cases of water like 6. And couldn’t help but overhear him telling a worker why he was buying so much water. He told the worker he was buying water for the Orthodox Jews to have on Shabbos because the weather was going to be over 100 degrees. Look how amazing people are.
