A Lakewood Hatzolah ambulance was involved in an accident this afternoon on its way to the hospital.
The accident occurred while transporting a patient to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
A patient was inside the ambulance, but there were reportedly no injuries as a result of the accident.
The ambulance sustained significant damage.
