  7. Cool masmid- I think you misunderstood. The “freezer” refers to the term bochurim use for the period of time a new bochur to Lakewood BMG is expected to wait before embarking on dating. It’s not referring to being treated unwarmly.

  8. The freezer is for that bacharim can sit & learn str8 for a small period of time then go date after, if someone doesn’t settle down after coming back from E”Y then its harder to continue learning

  10. But like Major said, theres no freezer in Lakewood, meaning Bachurim can’t enter BMG for Elul, only after succos, and the freezer starts then, so he actually has almost 3 months BEFORE the freezer starts!

  11. Not true. There is a freezer in BMG for Elul for some individuals. Coming from Lakewood East Bachurim get in for Elul and the freezer for them is over Rosh Chodesh Teves. I’m talking from experience.
