When asked if he was cerain there was no chometz underneath the car cover, the owner of the vehicle conceded: “No, I’m not sure about that. In fact, I just spoke to one of the poskim, and after speaking with him, I decided that I’m not relying on the car cover. I’m burning up the car with the rest of my chometz tomorrow morning. I can always get a new car after Pesach.”
“Looking at the bright side of things,” he added, “at least I won’t have to do a bedika on the car. I’m happy about that.”
