PHOTO: Hundreds Attend Internet Asifa at Lake Terrace, Bais Faiga

PHOTO: Hundreds in Lakewood this evening were part of a larger network of Internet Asifas throughout various communities in the tri-state area and beyond.

In Lakewood, the all-mens Asifas were held at Lake Terrace, and in Bais Faiga.

The speakers gave attendees an update on the progress and results of the Citifield gathering, and also discussed the continuous challenges posed by the constantly-updated tech devices – which are readily available to all today.

The Asifas were addressed by Reb Malkiel Kotler, Reb Matisyahu Solomon, Reb Yitzchok Sorotzkin and guest speaker Reb Elya Brudny, of New York.

  1. I disagree with TLS’s assertion the Asifa was attended by “Hundreds.” That is an understatement. There were clearly a couple thousand in total local attendance.

  2. What a kidush hashem..bais faiga was so packed, u couldn’t enter the hall or chupa room.reminds me of holy hillel hazoken who went on the roof to hear shiyur of shmaye and avtalyon..the oilam was standing outside bending, straining to hear divrei kodshom of speakers…the Malochim were shedding tears on such a mamad hakedusho.

  3. Truly a “a light onto the nations” There are billions of people in the world. Is there any other group who band together in the thousands on an ordinary Thursday night to take a stand for morality? I have yet to hear about them.
