No need to be worried, we’re looking out for him & going to get him……
he can get shot by residents with a firearm
Why would you leave your doors unlocked on your homes & cars?? this is not the old Lakewood, where you can trust your neighbors..It is the new Lakewood, where you can not trust anyone.
In nj you can not shoot a burglar if he is unarmed, you will go to jail along with the burglar.I don’t know why everyone thinks owing a firearm is easy.If you purchase a firearm with the intent of shooting burglars, then maybe a gun isn’t for you.
If someone would enter my home without consent that would be burglary. I as a united states citizen have the right under the constitution’s 2nd amendment protect myself and my property and will do so appropriately.
Lakewood resident, what do you mean by “old Lakewood”. Lakewood has never been safe. The only reason it seems to only be happening recently is because now modern technology allows us to record stuff that happens on our property and it allows us to publicise local events.
@ Morgan no one is denying you that right ,but one must be a responsible gun owner if you choose to have one, which includes knowing all the the laws that apply when owning a firearm, especially in NJ.I don’t even own a gun,but I know enough about the laws in nj,to one which is you can’t not shoot a unarmed intruder on your property.Nj does not have the same self defense laws as in Texas or Florida, were you can shoot on sight no questions asked.
