Pictured, is longtime Lakewood Department of Public Works employee Phil Roux receiving his certificate for completing the Certified Public Works Managers Program.

Roux, who received his certification through Rutgers,received his award during a ceremony in Atlantic City.

Roux has served with the Lakewood Public Works for approximately 17 years, and currently serves in the capacity of Assistant Superintendent and as part of the Administration.

With his certification, Roux will continue to take on more tasks and responsibilities within the Department.
