PHOTO: Candle At Grave Causes Fire At Deans Cemetery

A candle left at a grave caused a large brush fire at the Floral Park Cemetery, also known as Deans cemetery, this morning.

According to police, a candle left at a grave tipped over due to high winds in the area and burnt an area approximately 100 feet by 50 feet.

The fire department and the state forest fire service responded and extinguished the fire relatively quickly.

There were no injuries.
