What a special person he was.
worlds best shul gabai
may his neshama have an aliya
BD’E. I knew him well from Leisure. He was an amazing person with such simchas Hachayim. He was by davening every morning early and would wait with anticipation for me to help him with his Talis and Teffilin.
He will be sorely missed by all who came in contact with him.

He was such a positive upbeat person. Always with a smile! So grateful to everyone that helped him. Was so careful about davening with a minyan did whatever it took to make sure there was a minyan in Leisure.
BD”E. So sad to hear the news. He was such a special person! I met him in the Lakewood courtyard, and he had such a respect for others, would make everyone feel like so good, and was always so nice to the kids. He knew how to be so cheerful no matter what situation was going on! He is missed! Just last night I mentioned to someone about this special person that I met at the Lakewood courtyard. May his neshama have an Aliya in the olam haemes! May all the simchas hachaim that he brought to others be a big zchus for him!
I remember him for years at the courtyard a great “gabbai” to the minyan always smiling and witty , saw the best in every situation , always saying tehillim for those in need- May he be a melitz yosher for his family and klal yisroel!
such a nice guy. ahuv lamakom and ahuv labrios, used to crack me up too! always upbeat, real mensch, was sensitive towards others needs, even mine during my service at the courtyard as a social work intern. and at such an old age to be in tune with others’ subtle feelings was truly remarkable. will miss him down here. yehee mailitz yosher on klal yisroel.
William Sitrin was a longtime resident of our city and respected and contributing member of the Saratoga Springs NY Jewish community.
His positive attitude and warmth will be remembered and greatly missed. As a close friend to his son Louis and to the rest of his family I offer my heartfelt condolences.
