Petirah of Rebbetzin Chaya (Vivian) Garfunkel A”H

We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Rebbetzin Chaya (Vivian) Garfunkel A”H who was Niftar this morning following an illness.

She was the wife of R’ Moshe Garfunkel Z’TL originally from Cleveland Ohio. She moved to Lakewood four years ago.

She leaves behind a family of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, including her sons Benzion, Yisroel, Shmuel, Avraham Menachem, Yitzy, Chaim Shimon and Yosef Dovid and daughters Rochie Metzger, Cheved Mueller as well as sisters: Mitzi Shapiro, Leah Mehler, and Bashi Singer.

The Levaya is tentatively scheduled to take place at 7:30pm on Motzai Shabbos at the Lakewood Chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue, with Kevurah in Eretz Yisroel.

Shiva will take place at 152 Enclave Boulevard in Lakewood.

What a regal woman! She was the daughter of Reb Gedalia and Rebzt Miriam Zupnik. What a Choshuve family.
