We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Reb Yosef Moshe Rand Z”L following an illness.
Reb Yosef Moshe Z”L, originally from Toronto, was a renowned Talmid Chachom who spent most of his day Learning.
For approximately 40 years, he served as a Rebbe in Yeshiva Eitz Chayim.
Reb Yosef Moshe was also a close Chossid in Bais Sadigura, and had a close Kesher with four Rebbes. He was also very close with Rav Schorr and Reb Moshe Wolfson ZT”L.
He relocated to Lakewood several years ago. He was approximately 79 years old.
He leaves behind his wife, children and grandchildren Bnei Torah.
The Levaya is scheduled to take place at 11:45 AM until 12:25 PM at the chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue. Kevurah in Eretz Yisroel.

He was my Rebbe in 6th grade. So down to earth, I learned a lot from him. He had a beautiful thing where every week he’d invite 2 – 3 boys over to his house for a meal. Some of the boys in my class didn’t have your typical Shabbos experience, and he wanted them to have it.
