Petirah of Reb Yosef Leiser Z”L

We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Reb Yosef Leiser Z”L.

Reb Yosef Z”L resided in Brooklyn for many years, before moving to Lakewood several years ago.

Reb Yosef Z”L was Niftar on Friday afternoon, and the Kevurah was held several hours later in Lakewood. He was 76.

He leaves behind a family of Bnei Torah, most of whom reside in Lakewood.

The family will be sitting Shiva at 9 Katie Court in Lakewood, through Wednesday, getting up Thursday morning.

Shachris is 8:00am, Mincha 6:30pm and Maariv 8:30pm.

The Shiva home will be closed between 1-2pm and 5-6pm each day.

  1. B”de so sad to hear this. His really special wife was my computer teacher in BYHS IN Boro Park about 25 years ago.
    H-shem should give her and her family strength!

  2. Reb Yoseph learnt bchavrusa for years and years with the Noviminsker Rebbe Z”L every shabbos before mincha.
    It was a chizuk to watch them debating a svarah! Only after the rebbe was niftar did he allow himself to move away.
