Petirah of Reb Shlomo Ullman Z”L

We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Reb Shlomo Ullman Z”L, who was Niftar on Yom Kippur.

Reb Shlomo served as a Rebbe in Yeshiva of Spring Valley, Monsey for approximately 45 years, as was involved in Hashgacha in the OU and elsewhere.

He relocated to Lakewood approximately five years ago, settling in the Fairways. He was 79.

The Levaya is scheduled to take place at 1:00 PM on Sunday at the Chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue, with Kevurah in Lakewood.

Shiva will take place at 153 Skyline Drive, in the Fairways.

  1. The obituary is remiss, as it fails to mention that R’ Ullman was among the original Monsey (RH) Hatzolah members and is credited with saving/helping countless lives in the 80s-90s. Yehi Zicrho Baruch.

  2. Such a nice person. We crossed paths many times while conducting hashgacha. He was always willing to take the time and teach a fellow mashgiach, never being afraid of saying what he knew.
