  1. What the article says in a few words is perfect description of R’ Shloimie’s life. It was hard for him to walk , or even sit, the last few yrs but he didn’t miss a tefilla or his Chavrusa. Unbelievable Mesiras Nefesh.
I’m proud to have been his friend.

  2. His Brothers are – Menachem Manis, Ezriel Chaim, Yitzchok Meir, Ben Tzion, Areleh, Eliyakum & Yechiel Mordche.

  3. I was with Shloimie A”H just a few yrs ago when we were in South Fallsburg Mesivta in the mid 80s. He was the most Jolly Guy. Everybody loved him.
This is a gr8 loss for his friends and all of Klal Yisroel. TNTB”H.

  4. ברוך דיין האמת. A tremendous loss for klal Yisroel. I only met him a few times and learnt so much from him the amount of Chazal’s and stories about Gedolem he shared with me while it was hard for him to say over were unbelievable, May his children have a נחמה. And May we only hear good news.

  5. Very sad to hear this news. He suffered a lot but he still took an interest in every person he met and loved life. He will be sorely missed.

  6. He always greeted me warmly and said something nice about my extended family. יהא זכרו ברוך
He should be a מליץ יושר for his family and all of klal yisroel.

  7. Oy Vey. BD”E. He was such a simple person yet, at the same time, he was a great person. I used to see him from time to time in shul or wherever and he was clearly in pain and very uncomfortable. So, would ask him, Shloimie- howya doing? And he always answered, Boruch Hashem, ok. He never EVER complained. You never heard a bad word come out of his mouth. That’s greatness.
Big Loss for Klal Yisroel בכלל & for The Kol Aryeh Oulam בפרט.
