Petirah of Reb Osher Lemel Ehrenreich Z”L, longtime Dean of Bais Yaakov of Boro Park

We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Reb Osher Lemel Ehrenreich Z”L, the longtime Dean of Bais Yaakov of Boro Park, with thousands of Talmidos in Lakewood and around the globe.

Reb Ehrenreich Z”L served as the dean for over 60 years. He was in his nineties.

The Levaya is scheduled to take place at 11:30 AM Wednesday at Bais Yaakov of Boro Park, 1371 46th Street.

Buses to the Levaya from Lakewood are in the process of being arranged, and information will be published once confirmed.

  1. BDE! That is so sad. Rabbi Ehrenreich was an amazing person a true tzaddik. Even after so many years I remember him being a very kind and warm principal. May his family be comforted with all the chesed and kindness he showed to so many people.

  2. I’m so surprised at the lack of comments on all the frum blogs. Aside from the endless shevach that could be said about his seichel, ahavas Yisroel and amazing way of understanding and dealing with people, we all owe him an incredible debt of gratitude for where klal Yisroel is today in Torah learning. How many people living in Lakewood have mothers and wives who went there maybe even grandmothers.
