We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Reb Eliyahu Tabak Z”L, who was niftar this morning. He was 81.
Reb Eliayhu Z”L, a renowned Baal Chesed in Monsey, has several children in Lakewood, including R’ Moshe, R’ Elimelech, Mrs. Tovia Halpern, Mrs. Meir Grossman and Mrs. Akiva Weinberg.
The Levaya will take place at Tiferes Gedlaya in Monsey tomorrow, Sunday, at 10:30 AM. Kevurah will be in Monsey.
Shiva will take place at 11 Saddle River Road in Monsey.

The heading should be zatzal, as he was a great talmid chacham and tzaddik and spent most of his life al Torah v’avoda. I had the privilege to have shaychis to him. Oy mi yitein timuraso. He was an ish kulo emes. Huge loss for klal Yisroel.
My father shlita worked for or with him in the 1970’s. I understand that he worked as much as he needed to but not more. His main focus or should i say avodah was learning torah.
