BDE, I only had one interaction with him and walked away very inspired. I was a yingerman in BMG and had to leave the yeshiva part time to seek a parnasa. I went in to the office and told rabbi kuperman to take me off the kollel checks. He told me he won’t write out a check for me but he doesn’t want to take me off the list. He said what if the job/training doesn’t work out and you decide you want to return to the yeshiva? If I am off the list I’d have to restart the process again. Like this I just come and tell him and I’d he on again. He was so thoughtful and considerate.
