  1. Oiy vey Reb Dovid was a tzadik nistar, prior to 2008 he was quite well to do, after the financial crash he had plenty of money and could have just walked away. But he didnt do that Reb Dovid used up all his money to pay every last investor everything they were owed and was left penniless. what a great straight guy he was. someone please setup a keren for his beautiful family

  2. Dovid a”h was an ish choshuv. He was an anav and a Baal chesed. It is surreal to be writing about him in the past tense. He was a remarkable friend and neighbor we are still reeling from the shock of his petira. He leaves behind an amazing wife and 6 wonderful children kah whom he raised with so much love care and attention. To say he will be missed is an understatement. There are no words to comfort he should be a maylitz yoshar for his family and all of klal yisroel yehi zichro Boruch

  3. Rabbi Berg was the best teacher with whom I had the z’cus to work this year. He had thorough knowledge of the content. He was a talmud chacham and had the respect of his talmidim and all who taught in mesivta with him.

    He will be sorely missed.
