We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Rav Yekusiel Weinstein Z”L of Lakewood.

Rav Yekusiel Z”L was a longtime Lakewood resident, and a Talmid of Rav Aharon ZT”L. He opened one of the first Shuls in Lakewood, located on 5th Street and known as ‘Yuks’.

Rav Yekusiel was a renowned Talmid Chochom, Baal Chesed and Marbitz Torah in Lakewood for over 60 years. He was Niftar over Yom Tov at the age of 85.

His wife was Niftar approximately 25 years ago. He leaves behind his children Shimon, Aryeh, Benny, Shaul, Lazer and Mrs. Rochel Sharabi.

The Levaya is scheduled to take place at 10:00 AM at the Yuks Shul in Lakewood, 617 5th Street, Wednesday, the first day of Chol Hamoe’ed. Kevurah in Queens.
