We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Harav Tzvi (Hershel) Levenberg Z”L, a longtime Rebbi at Yeshiva Chaim Berlin and Yeshiva Eastern Parkway, who was Niftar overnight in Lakewood. He was 95 years old.
Rav Hershel, approximately 95, is a son of Harav Yehuda Heshel of New Haven, whose Yahrtzeit is today, and son-in-law of the Lomzer Rav, Harav Moshe Shatzkes Z”L.
Rav Hershel Z”L, a close Talmid of Rav Hutner Zatzal, is the father of Harav Yehuda Levenberg of Lakewood.
The Levaya will be taking place at 9:30 AM at the 7th Street Chapel, and Kevurah will take place in Lakewood.
Shiva will be taking place at 425 8th Street in Lakewood.
