Petirah of Rav Shmaryahu Shulman ZT”L

We regret to inform you of the petirah of Rav Shmaryahu Shulman zt”l, one of the early talmidim of Rav Aharon Kotler zt”l and Rav Yitzchok Ruderman zt”l.

A renowned talmid chochom, baki b’shas and mechaber seforim, Rav Shmaryahu was sought after by untold numbers of people seeking both his insight in learning as well as for general guidance.

Rav Shmaryahu was a resident of the Lakewood Courtyard in recent years.

The levaya will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, at Weinstein’s Funeral Chapel, 1153 Coney Island Avenue (corner of Ave. H) in Brooklyn at 2 pm.

  1. R Shulman used to learn with my Father A”H every morning before davening for years. He was a GAON.I used to watch them sometimes, even as a young boy it was amazing. My Father always said he had a photographic memory. What a loss !!!
