We regret to inform you of the Petirah of R’ Moshe Simcha Pruzansky Z”L, of Lakewood.
R’ Moshe Simcha Z”L, formerly of Boro Park, was a caterer and the director of the Friar Tuck Pesach Program.
The Levaya is scheduled for 1:00 at the 7th Street Chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue, with Kevurah in Eretz Yisroel. None are allowed at the airport.
Baruch Dayan Ha’emes.
Covid related?
Yes it’s relevant
No
The rule on TLS seems to be that all current days deaths are Covid related unless otherwise specified.
TLS doesn’t want to panic the town, but I agree with ‘curious’ that the current situation calls for precautionary panicking.
CHAS V’SHALOM! Don’t panic, and don’t spread Kefirah. Hashem was, is, and will always be in charge! People don’t die from COVID, they die because Hashem deems it time for them to die. Enough with all the fear and panic, enough with all the faith in the puppets, ONLY HASHEM DECIDES THE OUTCOME OF EVERY SINGLE THING IN THE UNIVERSE.
Talking about Kefirah… If you go against the advice of Chazal in Gemorah and our Gedolim and take a Mageifah lightly, that is Kefirah!!
BD”E on the lost of an Odom Godol (which was apparently not COVID related), and may this be the end of the sad news.
The poskim bring a minhag not to sit shiva for someone who dies in the time of a mageifah, so as not to get people panicked from the mageifah. (I don’t know the source, but I heard it from one of the choshuve poskim here)
Not Covid related
Was so much more than just a caterer! Was a true oved Hashem and a tremendous baal chesed! One of the nicest people you can meet! Raised a beautiful family who continue in his ways
BD”E
A gentle giant, a true yid.
Is this R’ Binyomin’s father (the author)?
No. It is his uncle.
Bde. Anyone know his children?
