Petirah of Mrs. Pearl Kaufman A”H, Director of Be’er Hagola School

We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Mrs. Pearl Kaufman A”H, the director of the Be’er Hagola School for Russian Jews for over 40 years.

Mrs. Kaufman A”H, from Lawrence NY, is also from the founding parents of Yeshiva Darchai Torah. She was 87.

She is the mother of Zev, Moshe and Mrs. Rosie Waxman of Lakewood, and Yossie of Flatbush.

The Levaya is tentatively scheduled to take place at 2:00 PM on Sunday at the Lakewood Chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue, with Kevurah in Lakewood.

    What an absolute unstoppable powerhouse of a woman. I spoke to her several times about fundraising for her school. She did not have ANY big time famous Nadvanim funding Be’er HaGolah. How she kept it going for all these years is a miracle. L’maaseh, 100s of Russian immigrant families are frum today because of her.
