We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Mrs. Nechama Rela Dreyfus A”H, a founder of Lakewood Mosdos who was Nifterah this evening following a year-long illness.
Mrs. Dreyfus A”H, Eishes Reb Michoel, was a sister to the Reb Meyer Rosenbaum Z”L, Reb Beinish Z”L, Reb Duddy (Lakewood), Reb Moishe (Lakewood), Reb Yankel (Monsey), Mrs. Elky Neiman, and the mother-in-law of Harav Shia Gelbwachs, the Rav of Bais Medrash Ner Yisroel.
Mrs. Dreyfus A”H, who resided in Boro Park, and moved to Lakewood recently due to her illness, was the founder of the Bnos Bina girls school in Lakewood, the Ateres Yisroel high school in Lakewood and the Bais Medrash Ner Yisroel in Lakewood.
The Levaya will be taking place at 9 a.m. Friday morning outside Bais Medrash Ner Yisroel, 733 Ridge Avenue, Lakewood. The Aron will then be flown to Eretz Yisroel for Kvurah.
Baruch Dayan Ha’emes.
Mrs. Dreyfuss was a wonderful example of “Haznaya Leches” doing myriads of tzedaka and chessed quietly and without any fanfare. A tremendous loss to Klall Yisroel.

Very sad for many. She did so so much for not just the schools, but the students. She helped set their standard from so many different facets. She gave kids a place to learn, grow, and embrace yiddishkeit with a smile and the realization they were somebody. Today many of these girls were just kids full of potential, now many are grown women living up to that potential. She gave over herself for the sake of klal. Sad news, about her passing but so many girls will live on enjoying simchas, yom tovs, and many other milestone events as a result of her.
Thank you Rebitzen.
Boruch Dayan Haemes–she was a true אם בישראל!
May she be a מליצה ישרה for the whole family and gantz klal yisroel.
Oy, BD”E. she was mamesh a tzadeikes. She gave of herself selflessly for the advancement of her mosdos chashuvos. She has the z’chus of influencing, directly and indirectly, hundreds if not thousands of fine Talmidos. TNTB”H.
Thanks to TLS for changing from the wrong Nifteres to Nifterah.
To #3: Melitz Yosher and not Meilitz Yashar. Therefore, Melitzas Yosher rather than Meilitza Yeshara.
