Petirah of Mrs. Miriam Elias A”H

candleWe regret to inform you of the Petirah of Mrs. Miriam Elias A”H, who was Niftar this afternoon in Lakewood following a lengthy illness. She was 88.

Mrs. Elias A”H is the wife of Reb Yosef Elias, and mother of Mrs. Devorah Blitz (Detroit), Reb Dovid (Montreal), Reb Michoel (Monsey), Mrs. Shifra Gettinger (Lakewood).

The Levaya will be taking place at the 7th Street Chapel (613 Ramsey) at 9:30 PM this evening, and then 11 AM tomorrow at 121 College Road in Monsey. The Kevura will be in Clifton, NJ.

Shiva will take place at 6 Buckman Place, Monsey, NY. Shachris 8 AM, and Mincha and Maariv at 8:15 PM.

  3. Please correct your story, she was the wife of Rabbi Yosef Elias ZT”L, for whom his sons just finished saying kaddish today. May she be a malitz yosher for the entire beautiful mishpacha.

  4. I learnt and grew so much from you. Being by your bedside daily. I hope to follow in your foot steps in every way. I will miss you a lot.
