I feel it necessary to publicize this. I don’t know how. I’ll start here since you asked for my comments. Mental health is top priority before anything else. There is no physical health and no spiritual health without mental health. I think someone should get the message quickly to the top Rabbonim to work on mental health instead of AI. If we have mental health we won’t fall into the trap of AI. No amount of anything else will prevent that trap. Please, it needs to be out in the open, just like bringing AI out in the open. Without mental health, there is no learning torah, nothing. I mean top notch psychiatrists. Consulting psychiatrists from a young age. Paying special attention to those from vulnerable families genetically and otherwise. It should be looked upon like a badge of honor. A person should think, Baruch Hashem I am in the hands of a good doctor. I have a sensitive brain, I will do all I can to fortify it with the right medication and be totally ready willing and able to be a true Eved Hashem doing all the mitzvos and learning with a bren. Do you see the potential?? Parents and teachers need to be aware and act on unexpected behaviors and patterns. It’s not always medicine. A regular person can help in ways they can’t imagine. Check on your neighbor. No degrees or experience necessary. Just humanity. See people from the inside out. Not the other way around. Let them talk. Sometimes it’s external factors. Find out. Be the one that gets help for people to cope with their problems. In this zechus, there should only be yeshuos and refuos.
What a tragic loss. She was a kind, warm hearted woman who knew how to make others feel comfortable and welcome. May the family find comfort and know no more pain.
