Petirah of Mr. Gary Blum Z”L of Lakewood [Shiva Info]

We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Mr. Gary Blum Z”L, who was Niftar early this morning following an illness. He was 59.

Gary and his wife Dalia of Dalgar caterers (Toras Aron Hall) are renowned Baalei Chasadim, and among their Chasadim would sponsor food to organizations and others. During power outages, Gary would immediately bring out refrigerated trucks for neighbors and others to use so their food wouldn’t spoil.

He leaves behind his wife, and several children.

The Levaya is scheduled to take place at 4:00 PM today, Tisha B’Av, at the Lakewood Chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue, with Kevurah in Eretz Yisroel.

Baruch Dayan Ha’emes.

  1. Oish, Nebech. BD”E.
    He was such a Tzaddik.
And sick for so many years.
    So, so, sad.
I dealt with him once to help a friend who couldn’t pay for the wedding.
He let me pay him slowly, over a few weeks, AFTER the wedding.
I’m sure hundreds of similar stories are gonna come out.
May he be a huge Meilitz Yosher for all of Klal Yisroel.
