  1. What a Chilul Hashem. Two stories seem to have posted within a fairly close time frame. One about shoprite relocating to Howell, and the other about the petirah r”l of an adam gadol. I see that there are 52 comments on the shoprite story and none on the histalkus of a gadol. Rav Treiger was an outstanding talmid chacham and yarei shomayim, a throw back to times past, had tremendous varimkeit and was loved by all. As a bochur he was already revered for his learning acumen. A true tragedy for klal yisroel

  2. What a Tzaddik. His granddaughter married my nephew in E”Y a few yrs ago. I spent a few days with him. The previous poster is absolutely right. He was a massive Talmid Chochom, was comfortable speaking in all Chelkei Shulchan Aruch and Shas & was such a warm smiley person, it was amazing. Truthfully, Tho, I cant call the lack of posters a chilul H-shem. Most Americans never heard of him. I didnt either till he became my nephew’s zeidy.
