Petirah of Harav Mordechai Rennert Z”L, Rosh Yeshivas Derech Chaim

candleWe regret to inform you of the passing of Harav Mordechai Rennert Z”L who was niftar Friday night. Rabbi Rennert was a close Talmud of Harav Scheinberg and was Rosh Yeshiva in Yeshivas Derech Chaim for many years.

The Levaya will be held at 11 AM Sunday morning at his Yeshiva, located at the corner of 39th Street and 16th Avenue in Brooklyn. The Kevura will take place in Eretz Yisroel.

The Rosh Yeshiva leaves behind his Rebbitzen, 12 children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as hundreds of talmidim residing in Lakewood and beyond.

    Dial 718-906-6400
    Press * for “Live Shiurim“
    And choose “Hespedim“ from the menu to hear the Levaya while in session..

  2. To Answer # 1 Ben: The chushever Rosh Yeshiva was not old at all, I doubt if he even hit 70 yet, & he always was slim & looked healthy. It’s a terrible loss for his family, talmidim & for this world.

  3. What a great loss to the world! He was a zadike, a caring loving person to every. Talmid

    He will be badly missed the yeshiva will miss him the world Will miss Him!

  4. Reb Kalman was one big Ahava Rabba. Ahavas Hashem, Ahavas HaTorah, Ahavas Habrios. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. Always exuding simchas hachayim.

    May we be zoche to emulate his ways.
