BDE I never met a Rosh Yeshiva that truly loved and cared about every talmid like he did.
To Answer # 1 Ben: The chushever Rosh Yeshiva was not old at all, I doubt if he even hit 70 yet, & he always was slim & looked healthy. It’s a terrible loss for his family, talmidim & for this world.

He was 69. His 70th birthday would have been on purim
What a great loss to the world! He was a zadike, a caring loving person to every. Talmid
He will be badly missed the yeshiva will miss him the world Will miss Him!
Reb Kalman was one big Ahava Rabba. Ahavas Hashem, Ahavas HaTorah, Ahavas Habrios. He never had a bad word to say about anyone. Always exuding simchas hachayim.
May we be zoche to emulate his ways.
