We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Harav Michoel Bender ZT”L, a Mashgiach in Yeshiva Bais Binyomin (formerly of Stamford, currently in Monsey), who was found unconscious in Monsey on Tuesday. He was approximately 71 years old.

Rav Michoel was a son-in-law of Harav Simcha Schustal, ZT”L, the Rosh Yeshiva of Bais Binyomin, and a son of Harav Dovid Bender ZT”L, a Menahel in Yeshiva Torah Vodaas.

He is survived by his Rebbetzin, his brothers Harav Yaakov Bender, Rosh Yeshiva of Darchei Torah in Far Rockaway, Harav Shmuel Shalom Bender, and Harav Paltiel Bender, his sister Rebbetzin Shapiro, wife of Harav Moshe Shimon, a Rosh Kollel in Lakewood.

The Levaya is scheduled to take place at Bais Binyomin in Monsey.
