We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Chana Bracha Halpert A”H of Lakewood.
Chana Bracha A”H is the daughter of Rabbi Eli Halpert and Mrs. Miryl Halpert.
She was 22.
The Levaya is tentatively scheduled to take place at 2:30 PM at the 7th Street Chapel, 613 Ramsey Avenue, Lakewood. Kevurah in Lakewood.
Baruch Dayan Ha’emes.
This is so sad.
Chana Rochel lived on my block.
An absolute tragic end to a 20-year tragedy.
On the few (not nearly enough) times I went to visit her, I was astounded at her cheerfulness and positive outlook. Though totally paralyzed from her neck down, she would still talk, laugh, make jokes etc etc.
The last few years her medical condition worsened and she was basically non-verbal – but she still smiled when we sang a Geshamake Niggun.
This is a heilegeh Neshama that goes up to Shamayim on an Erev Shabbos, 3 days before Rosh Hashana, with millions of Mitzvos from davenning and thanking H-shem & near-zero aveiros.
May she be “Ah Gutteh Beter” for her family, The Schorr family who was Moiser Lev V’Nefesh for her, all the hundreds of volunteers who, over the years, came to visit her, play games/music with/for her & care for her every social need and for all of K’lal Yisroel.
RIP. She was such a sweet innocent girl.
