Petirah of Altshtater Rav, Reb Yaakov Thumim Z”L

candleWe regret to inform you of the Petirah of the Altshater Rav, Reb Yakov Thumim Z”L, who was Niftar last night in Lakewood. He was approximately 94.

Ren Yaakov is the father of Reb Dovid Z”L, and Shver of Reb Osher Chaim Lieberman, Reb Leib Gruber, Reb Moshe Mund and Reb Yossi Krishevsky.

The Levaya will be taking place at 8:45 AM sharp this morning, Thursday, at Bais Medrash Zichron Yoel, 1014 Laurence Avenue, Lakewood, and at 11AM at the Altshtater Bais Medrash, 1541 52nd Street in Brooklyn.
