JUST IN: A person has been stabbed and seriously injured in Lakewood moments ago, officials confirms to TLS.
The stabbing occurred shortly after 8 p.m. Following an apparent fight.
Multiple EMS and LFA personnel responded to the scene and located the victim with a stab wound to the chest, officials say.
Paramedics are transporting Jersey Shore Medical University Center in critical condition, officials say.
Police from Brick and Jackson were reportedly requested for mutual aid to assist with crowd control.
An investigation is underway.

It’s on MLK I was there. The stabbing was followed by a standoff between the police and the stabber.

If it wasn’t one of unzerer why do we have to know about it? If certain types of people fight, and stab or shoot each other and they do it only to their kind, why do we have to hear about it? If it happened to one of us, then I can understand that we have to be cautious in certain neighborhoods; In that case tell us where it happened.
