Person Stabbed in Lakewood; Suspect in Custody

lpd nt ch tlsA person is in custody after an alleged stabbing in Lakewood this evening, sources tell TLS.

The incident reportedly occurred around 9 p.m. inside an apartment in the area of MLK Drive.

Police and EMS responded to the scene and found a bloodied victim inside the apartment, sources said. He was transported to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus. The extent of injuries are not currently available.

A suspect was taken into custody at the scene moments after the incident, sources said.

Lakewood’s Detective Bureau and CSI are investigating the incident.

  3. Why do I always see Police in calm neighborhoods (pulling over for minor offenses) & when I go to certain other neighborhoods where I’m scared to get out of my car, there’s no police in sight?

    gotta speak to NY to see how they mapped out crime & caused a huge decrease in incidents.
