  1. I agree. I don’t know how much a rail system is feasible, but the reduction of traffic will benefit everyone and could even serve as a substitute for the school buses!!

  2. Not for nothing, everyone says “we need sidewalks” but all I ever see is persons walking on the streets, with strollers and at night, wven on major roads. If the sidewalks are there use them, it’ll be safer for all of us.

  3. Was the person in a crosswalk? This law that you have to stop for pedestrians is utterly RIDICULOUS! There’s a sign on Madison that says you have to stop for pedestrians–BUT ON RT 9??? That is absurd! There will be a lot more car accidents than pedestrians hit if that is the case!

  4. Sidewalks are made so that everyone can walk in the streets.

Sometimes, when I see someone walking in the street I want to just scream. But then I control myself.

  5. I think we need more police enforcement of the traffic laws. I drive around everyday and there is not a day that goes by that I do not witness numerous violations from talking on cell phones to people driving on the wrong side of the road to people dangerously cutting infront of other people. If more tickets were given maybe people would think before they broke the law

  6. I live in Coventry Square, and there are sidewalks in every court on both sides. Every day I encounter people walking and standing in the street. What gets me most upset is when I drive by them I get looks as if I shouldn’t be driving there because they are standing or walking there. PLEASE USE THE SIDEWALKS THAT IS WHAT THEY ARE THERE FOR, EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO GO FROM SIDE WALK TO SIDE WALK, TO WALK AROUND THE CIRCLE TO EXERCISE.
