Hatzolah and Police are on the scene at Hope Chapel and South Lake Drive for a pedestrian struck. Injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. Use caution in the area as emergency personnel operate on the scene.

You know you can get a ticket for texting and driving. Cell phone use while driving is a distraction. People can’t drive good to begin with. If it is such an important call pull over and make it safe for everyone including yourself.
Why is everyone so fast to point fingers at the motorist. What about the pedestrians who all to often are distracted and do not look before running across the street. Please while walking and or driving pay attention to where you are going and what you are doing and not your media devices. Also please instill the knowledge into children to look before crossing. Lakewood roads in general are an accident waiting to happen
