What is wrong with people
Ain mikra masmedes
Almost a week cant go by without this happening
Drive carefully slowly and courteously
I presume hatzallah wasn’t called to the scene.
In the video you can clearly see that Hatzalah was there.
I hope this man will survive and get a speedy recovery.
Was he/she wearing a reflecter. Was tthe vehicle headlights on?
Was the vehicle wipers on? Was he on his phone?
Was he crossing on a red?
One more question that will likely answer all your dumb questions. Did he walk in front of the car DESPITE his reflector??
Let’s wake up people. Our problems are not gonna be solved by a narishe reflector campaign. People need to learn how to cross a street. Because I could guarantee you that he wasn’t hit on the sidewalk that’s for sure. That’s where it starts and that’s where it stops.
The person should heal completely.
@Hello
Its disgusting ilof you to accuse the driver of being at fualt.
Many many people in this town walk/cross the street at night when it’s dark, and they think everyone can see them.
Also many people hitch.
May he have a speedy recovery.
As a driver, I can’t understand why pedestrians don’t walk the extra block and cross by a walk signal.
Lakewood had 4 yidden niftar in a matter of the last 2 weeks (2 children and 2 young men) R”L.
do you think that this is coincidence?
When we are struck by tragedies but still don’t wake up to do Teshuva as 1 loving nation together then we leave Hashem no choice but to keep hitting us with more Tzaros.
Let us finally wake up to reality and admit to Hashem that we accept his wake up call and we will do teshuva ASAP.
may we hear of no more tzaros and may Mashiach come very soon
I’m not judging this particular story as I obviously don’t know the details.
But, I wonder to myself every time I drive on the 9; why in the world are there striped crosswalks at intersections without traffic lights. I shudder when I see people attempting to cross there. There perhaps was a time when Route 9 was quiet, but today it is a busy thoroughfare full with wild drivers, those crosswalks do not belong there.
There are young bochurim who run in front of a car just in order to get a ride home. Just this Friday a boy ran in front of my car while I was driving in order to flag me for a ride. Parents of teenagers have a responsibility to teach their children that lives they have got only one! A ride they can get later…
Okay all you guys calm down and stop speculating The pedestrian walked straight into traffic and I was told he may have been drunk too So stop jumping to conclusions This should clear it up for you
How about the Scoop do a follow up article and publish the results of the police reports of these accidents so that we can understand what went on and we can do something to prevent them.
