Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle, Traffic Lights Knocked Out in Accident on County Line Rd in Lakewood [PHOTOS]

A pedestrian was struck and traffic lights were knocked out in an accident in Lakewood this evening.

The accident happened around 10:15 PM at the intersection of County Line Road and Twin Oaks Drive when a vehicle struck a pedestrian and then the traffic light control box, knocking out power.

Hatzolah Paramedics transported the patient with serious injuries to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

Police have partially shut County Line Road between Park Avenue and Somerset Avenue.

Avoid the area.
