Pedestrian struck by vehicle, seriously injured on Cedarbridge Ave (PHOTO)

A pedestrian sustained serious injuries in an accident on Cedarbridge Avenue this evening, officials say.

The woman was struck by a vehicle near Hurley Avenue around 11pm, and upon arrival, emergency personnel reportedly found the woman unconscious.

Lakewood EMS, LFA and Hatzolah Paramedics responded to the scene.

The patient is being transported by EMS to JSUMC.

Lakewood’s Traffic Safety devision is investigating.
